ENROLLMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Fees & Procedures:
A non-refundable fee of $25.00 is payable on enrollment.
Fees are payable each term in advance & must be paid in full by the second week of term. If fees have not been paid by the third week of term, a late fee of $25.00 will be added to your account & if the account remains unpaid after this period, your child/children will be unable to continue with classes until such time as fees are paid in full.
If you are unable to pay your fees within the time allocated, you will need to speak with Miss Debra directly to arrange a payment plan.
It is important that you advise Australian Dance and Drama Co of any changes to your enrolment & contact details if they change.
Refunds:
No refunds will be available once you have paid your fees in full.
No changing of classes permitted during the term. You must continue with chosen classes until the end of the term. Changes can only be made at the start of a new term. No refunds will be given if you decide to discontinue any or all classes.
It is the parents’ & students’ responsibility to read the notice board on a weekly basis & collect any notices from reception.
No parent is to stay with a student whilst a class is being conducted. (with the exception of Mums’ & Bubs’ classes) Special watching days will be held during each term where parents & relatives can watch their young students in class.
Injury/Medical Conditions:
It is the student’s responsibility to notify their teacher in the event of injury/medical condition during or prior to class.
It is the student’s responsibility to inform their teacher being treated or may be of concern.
The first aid box is available to any student through their teacher. Due to government regulation we are unable to provide anyone with Panadol or equivalent medication.
No refund will be given if a child fails to attend class due to illness or injury. In these circumstances classes can be made up at another date.
Choreography:
To preserve the intellectual property of our creative teachers, all choreography for eisteddfods, group dances & end of year performances taught by Australian Dance and Drama Co teachers remains the property of Australian Dance and Drama Co & may not be used without the permission of Australian Dance and Drama Co.
Safety:
Australian Dance and Drama Co is committed to providing a safe & healthy place for teachers, dancers & visitors.
Australian Dance and Drama Co asks that you ensure the following responsibilities:
Dancers should be on time for class & should not enter classes until the teacher has safely dismissed the previous class.
No child should be left without the parent being satisfied that their child is in class & under the care of Australian Dance and Drama Co teachers nor should any child be encouraged to leave class without supervision.
Students should be picked up on time by a parent or guardian at the end of their class/es. When students leave the premises they are out of our care, no student should wait or be asked to wait outside the premises to be collected.
Concert:
It is not compulsory for a student to be involved in the annual performances, however it is preferred.
If a student is away for a specific amount of time, it is the teacher’s decision whether or not they will be included in the end of year routine/s. Teacher’s decision is final.
It is compulsory to attend the dress rehearsal/s & stage rehearsal/s for the end of year performance.
Class Attire:
All students must be appropriately dressed for class, with the correct footwear. (shoes, stockings, leotards & other uniform items are can be ordered from reception).
All students must be appropriately groomed for class, with their hair tied back securely. Students must wear a leotard & have their hair in a bun with hair net & pins for every ballet class (every age group), no exceptions. Please be aware that no jazz clothing should be worn in any ballet class.
Any student inappropriately dressed or groomed may not be able to participate in class activities.
No photography or videoing is to be taken during classes, dress rehearsals or concert performances without permission from Miss Debra.
