Miss Keirstin

With well over 35 years In the entertainment industry, Miss Keirstin’s professional career started in her youth with appearances in numerous advertisements, soap operas, TV movies and movies, before performing on touring contracts in Sydney and Asia in Cabaret, for Regency Artist and Glen Walsh Productions. She was Dance Captain for the ABC TV Australian National Christmas tour and Sega World, Sydney. Keirstin was also a member of Tap Dogs for the Opening Ceremony at Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. She made numerous TV appearances and tours for Disney Entertainment Australasia and Promotechniques, where she later became resident choreographer.

As a teacher of nearly 30 years experience, Keirstin prides herself on not just teaching dance to her students but instilling in them an Education in and love of the arts. She is registered in RAD Classical Ballet and ISTD Modern, Jazz and Tap, and was a Regional Panel Member for the RAD for seven years in WA. Following the RAD and ISTD’s code of conduct and professional practice, Keirstin strives to instil confidence, commitment and discipline in each of her students through an open and honest relationship. She prides herself on the beautiful and professional behaviour demonstrated by all her students in examinations, workshops and competitions, and loves to watch them carry these behaviours into their professional adult lives. Through her extensive experience working with children Keirstin understands the needs required of children of different age levels and experiences. Her passion is helping children learn to reach their full potential.
