Miss Ashlyn has a diverse background in both performance and teaching, and a deep love for sharing the joy of dance with others. Her dance journey has led her to perform on prestigious stages across the globe, including Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park, Universal Studios in America, and the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Allure of the Seas, as well as in several musicals with production companies and several jobs in promotional work. Additionally, Ashlyn has performed as a “roving” character during the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations in Sydney.
Miss Ashlyn is proficient in a wide array of dance styles, including Jazz, Tap (completed all levels of the Glenwood Tap Syllabus up to Level 13), Ballet (up to Elementary level in the BAL Syllabus), Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Her education and training include an HSC from Westfield’s Sports High School with over 87 in both Dance (Contemporary) and Music (Singing), where she was part of the Gifted and Talented company Program.
Ashlyn holds a TAFE Certificate 3 in Assistance Dance Teaching, furthering her knowledge and expertise. Miss Ashlyn has also been a Dance Captain/Teacher in the School Spectacular Disability Arts Ensemble empowering her to foster students from various backgrounds and showcase her leadership skills, as well as being a Featured Dancer. In addition to her dance qualifications, she has completed the Dance Step Assistance Dance Program and studied the Acrobatics Australia syllabus. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Primary Education at Western Sydney University, which enriches her ability to work effectively with young children.
Miss Ashlyn is fully committed to creating a safe, supportive, and creative environment for her students. She holds many necessary certifications, including a Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR training, Police Check, Anaphylaxis Training, and Child Protection qualifications. Miss Ashlyn’s goal is to inspire and empower students through dance while fostering a love for movement, creativity, and personal expression.
