Miss Ashley has a diverse background in both dance performance and teaching, with a genuine passion for sharing the joy of movement with others. She began dancing at the age of three and continued training throughout her schooling years, developing a strong foundation across both competitive dance and group performances, as well as promotional and performance work.
Ashley is experienced in a wide range of dance styles including Jazz, Ballet (completing up to Elementary level in the BAL syllabus), Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Her personal favourite is Tap, having completed the Glenwood Tap Syllabus up to the final level, Level 13. Her broad training allows her to adapt her teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities, while encouraging strong technique and performance quality.
Currently, Ashley is completing a double degree in Psychology and Business at the University of Wollongong. This academic background enhances her teaching by supporting positive behaviour management, confidence-building, and emotional development in students, while also fostering clear communication, organisation, and leadership within the classroom.
Miss Ashley is committed to creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where children feel encouraged to express themselves creatively and grow in confidence. She holds all necessary certifications, including a Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR training, Police Check, Anaphylaxis Training, and Child Protection qualifications. Ashley’s goal is to inspire students through their love of dance while helping them develop not only as dancers, but as confident, capable individuals.
